I have been showing chickens since I was 17 and pigeons off and on when I had them. This page focuses on show birds that I have shown, or that were directly produced from my breeding pens. I don't keep up with all the birds that I sell, however some of them were exceptional and are now in the hands of local 4H members. One such bird is my black Japanese hen, she was the last Jap that I hatched and ended up in the hands of a 4H member as a door prize at our local fun show. She since grew into a very nice bird, better than I ever thought she would be.

In an effort to save space and make this page more readable there are several acronyms that are used. There is also a format that is followed for the wins.

The format:

• Show name and Date
• Breed & Variety
• Bird Class & Placings after 1st

Acronyms:

1. 1st - First Place Award (1st is assumed if not listed)
2. BV & RV - Best and Reserve of Variety
3. BB & RB - Best and Reserve of Breed
4. BC & RC - Best and Reserve of Class
5. BBa & RBa - Best & Reserve Bantam
6. BIS & RIS - Best & Reserve in Show
